TXSWITCH|How do I launch Atmosphere for SX OS?


For SX Pro dongle users, you can also use this guide to launch Atmosphere on the Switch. Currently, SX Pro OS does not support firmware 7.0.0 and 7.0.1, but Atmosphere 0.8.5 can support Switch 7.0.x firmware, so just use this guide and you can use the  SX Pro dongle again on the latest Switch. How to migrate from SX OS to Atmosphere

 This short guide will show the basic steps for migrating from SX OS to Atmosphere, or both are contiguous (as long as you don't update the firmware to a version not supported by SX OS).

 It is very simple and should be completed in 10 minutes.

 Why use Atmosphere instead, what ups and downs?

Supports 7.0 and 7.0.1 when SX OS is not available

Disadvantages:


 No XCI loading
No Emunand
No USB loading

Unable to install NSP from USB media


How to set up Atmosphere as an existing SX OS user:

1. Get the latest Atmosphere files (zip and fusee-primary.bin), put the contents of the package and the .bin on the root of your MicroSD.
2. Get Sigpatches if wanted (to run unsigned code), put the contents of the package on the root of your MicroSD.
3. SX Installer does not work on Atmosphere, so get another title installer like Goldleaf, Tinfoil or Lithium and put it into your \Switch folder.
4. Since 0.8.5, Atmosphere supports cheats as well and they are compatible with the format that SX uses. User KuranKu already described what you need to move to make it happen, so have a look at this guide if you need this.
More Tips
  • If you have any xci files left, you will want to install them. Either do that on SX OS directly, or useZeroTwoXci or n1dus to do it on Atmos.
  • If you want to use SX OS and Atmos next to each other, just keep SX OS boot.dat as it is and launch Atmos by holding VolUp when starting the Switch, going to Options, Payloads, choose fusee-primary.bin and press Launch.
  • If you don’t have or use the dongle, just use whatever loader you were using before but instead of pushing the SX payload, push the Atmosphere payload.
